Life can feel better
Individual Therapy
Love You
You long to be empowered and to have healthy relationships, a career that feeds your soul and feel inspired and alive. Yet you feel like you’re being held back by the past. We say some terrible stuff to ourselves. Shame caused by these messages silences our truth. So we stop trusting our intuition. What’s the point if it’s not perfection?
But guess what? You’re not who you think you are. You are so much more.
Pause here and notice your reaction when you read that.
We can work with it.
You don’t have to feel stuck an unfulfilling life. therapy can help. Many of my clients arrive feeling stifled and lost. They want a life that feels vital and fulfilling, but they don’t know how to begin. Let me help you challenge the voice that says you can’t feel better. There’s a part of you that knows you can reignite your sense of purpose. Therapy can help you free yourself to make changes in a way that feels right.
Anxiety & Depression
Things might seem alright on the surface, but you can’t seem to find yourself happy. You feel stuck or weighed down. You want to live a full and balanced life but there are barriers. The good news is that there’s a way to create a life that feels better. Therapy can help you see things differently, make changes in your circumstances, learn skills, and process the trauma and hurt that are a part of being alive. Having someone walk with you on the tough parts of your path can make things feel less dark.
And there’s so much in you and around you to tap into! Let’s awaken the powerful self within. You can empower your intuitive self so you can better hear the voice of your inner guidance. We can also find the points of connection within your relationships and community, remember your creative self, and seek peaceful moments during your day-to-day to call in more of what feels nourishing.
We might also explore the possibility of a referral to a psychiatrist who prescribes Ketamine for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. If you are a candidate, I can provide Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Integration Therapy . I can work with you to integrate your experiences using Ketamine as part of your Depression treatment plan. When prescribed and clinically appropriate, Ketamine can be an effective treatment for Depression and Treatment Resistant Depression.
Trauma
Nothing feels like it makes sense. You may be angry, frustrated, or exhausted. You want to feel at home in your body and feel safe again. I can’t wave a magic wand and make your pain go away, but I can help you focus on your needs.
It feels like no one ‘gets’ you which might be true because you’ve gone through something life-changing. It can be scary to talk about your experiences, but I offer talk therapy in addition to other types of therapy (such as Art Therapy and a trauma therapy called EMDR) that don’t require you to tell your whole story unless you want to. While there’s no ‘right’ way to heal, there are ways to help you decrease your suffering and anxiety. I teach new skills and check-in on what works for you.
You want to be able to focus on yourself again and all of the dreams you thought you lost along the way. You want to be able to think about your future and feel hopeful and free from the past instead of constantly ruminating over what "could/should" have happened differently. You may need help trusting yourself and hearing your intuition instead of second-guessing. I work with you to restore your relationship with yourself. I can assure you that your somatic experience and responses are valid and real.
Stuck Creatives
You feel blocked or stuck creatively and you’re not sure what to do. You’re not making work or you’re making work that doesn’t feel aligned. Many times that sense of blocked creativity relates to anxiety. It can be tough to keep the flow of creativity going and to manage the daily vulnerability of sharing work that comes from a place deep within. It’s easy to get stuck in negative thought patterns surrounding rejection and failure that make it impossible to even begin working on a project. I support you as you change these patterns.
I encourage you to visit a curious place within that allows possibilities to open up. Therapy can help you discover what’s holding you back. At its core, creativity is about freedom. It allows you to enter a flow state and even transcend beyond the day-to-day. We can work on processing sources of anxiety so you can access a more free part of yourself. I will encourage you to work through a block and to engage in your work in a way that feels inspired.
“Just do your work.
And if the world needs your work, it will come and get you.
And if it doesn’t, do your work anyway.
You can have fantasies about having control over the world, but I know I can barely control my kitchen sink.
That is the grace I am given.
Because when one can control things, one is limited to one’s own vision.”

Clinical Counseling.
I offer holistic counseling because I am passionate about helping clients to take steps toward their best lives. As a counselor, I believe we can address your self-limiting beliefs and work on building a self-concept that supports your growth. Your journey back into yourself doesn't have to be one you make alone. Let’s honor your mind, body, and spirit by practicing healing that engages your intuition and allows you to enter a new space of knowing.
EMDR.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a type of therapy that can help you heal from symptoms of traumatic stress and emotional pain resulting from challenging life experiences. Anyone who has noticed a bruise fade or a cut scab can acknowledge the body has a deep and sometimes mysterious capacity to heal itself from injury. However, we often forget the impressive healing power of our minds. EMDR is guided by a theory that recognizes the mind can heal itself as the body does. EMDR functions as a mental and somatic therapy. Sounds pretty unreal, huh? But the good news is that this type of therapy has been widely studied and, under the right circumstances, demonstrates remarkable efficacy.

Art Therapy.
Creativity helps us tap into one of the core experiences of being human, connecting us to our own visual language. When this work is done with a sense of respect and ritual, it encourages transformative experiences. Using the training acquired as graduate of an American Art Therapy Association-approved master’s program, I carefully choose materials and prepare a space physically and metaphorically. Afterward, we verbally process the art-making experience. The depth of information that can be revealed during the processing allows us to make surprising discoveries!
Online Counseling
Interested in working together but having trouble with transportation or scheduling? Stuck at home due to COVID regulations? We can meet online through a secure platform for video sessions or by phone. You can see me from the comfort of your room or anywhere private. Telehealth is perfect for people with packed schedules who don’t have time to make it to and from my office, anyone who struggles with mobility, or anyone who just prefers to be at home. Via telehealth I can work with anyone in the state of California.
Our online therapy sessions are just like in-person sessions. We will meet for 50 minutes and explore your goals and needs. If you’re interested, we can engage in art therapy with materials you have at home.
Feeling Unsure? Here are some benefits of meeting online:
Effectiveness- studies show it’s as effective as meeting in person for a variety of issues
Depth- some people find it easier to speak about challenging topics online than it is in person which makes our work together more rich
Ease- we can meet anywhere private with a wifi connection without worrying about travel, parking, childcare, weather, or mobility
Breathwork
Breathwork is a form of active meditation that creates time to disconnect from the thoughts, tune into the body, move energy, and hold space for emotion practiced with the intention of creating healing and transformational experiences. It can invite intense somatic and emotional experiences such as feeling like you’ve processed trauma or released ‘stuck’ emotions. Practicing breathwork may also inspire a sense of heightened intuition and awareness of the present as well as feelings of clarity and calm.
